Modern Slavery and TRAFFICKING

St Albans Glazing Systems  are committed in its monitoring and compliance with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and our Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking policy sets out our approach for dealing with the potential risk of slavery and human trafficking in our business or within our supply chains.

We are committed to ensuring that slavery or human trafficking does not take place in any part of our business or within our supply chain.

We will never knowingly support or do business with any organisation that is involved in such practices and commit to terminate any relationship immediately where evidence of slavery or human trafficking is substantiated.

Equality and Gender Pay Gap

As a supplier of windows and doors we depend heavily on our excellent reputation to do business and attract new customers. We work hard in bringing to the market high quality products, installed by qualified technicians that are appropriately paid. It should therefore come as no surprise that we are equally committed to our ethical trading policies and equality.

The directors of St Albans Glazing Systems Limited have committed to equal opportunities for all staff and offer a tiered salary structure, irrespective of gender.

St Albans Glazing Systems Ltd does not differentiate between gender when considering candidates for any role within the organisation.

All new staff within any given role are recruited under the same structure and their earning ability depends on individual performance and career development.

Any pay gap difference will be a result of differing roles & achievement based reward. As a small company employing less than 250 employees, we of course do not need to do this, its just the directors think it’s the right thing to do.

Environmental Compliance

The directors and staff at St Albans Glazing Systems are committed to minimising the impact of our operations on the environment. As such, the organisation monitors its use of resources and promotes efficiency through the elimination of waste.

Our vehicle fleet is kept to a minimum to reduce harmful emissions and excessive use of fuel and  actively promote recycling with our supply chain and our customers.

Our products are sourced from environmentally conscious suppliers who share our passion for protecting the environment  and operate in a responsible and sustainable way.
